Yogurt with Lemon

Skip the overpriced, sugary yogurt cups and try this instead: I recreate that perfect sweet-tart lemon flavour by adding fresh lemon juice and a drop of lemon essential oil to plain yogurt. No added sugar, just pure, bright goodness—and honestly, it’s better than store-bought!



Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups yogurt plain or dairy free

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh

  • 2 to 3 drops lemon essential oil

  • 8 to 10 drops liquid stevia extract more or less, to taste

  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the yogurt, lemon juice, lemon essential oil, and stevia in a bowl.

  2. Stir or whisk until combined.

  3. Taste and adjust the flavours to your liking -- adding a bit more stevia or another drop of lemon essential oil, if desired.

  4. Divide between 2 bowls -- 3/4 cup each.

  5. Top with lemon zest and enjoy!
